Job summary

Georgian Bistro in Turku, Finland is seeking a waiter to welcome and serve guests in the dining area during evenings and weekends.

You will take orders, serve food and drinks, handle cashiering and payments, clear and reset tables, and maintain overall cleanliness while collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure a great guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks to guests in the dining area
• Operate cashiering and handle payments at the end of meals
• Set and clean tables, clear dishes, and reset for new guests
• Maintain general cleanliness of the dining area and assist with bus and side duties
• Cooperate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience
• Assist with other restaurant tasks as needed to support daily operations

Job description

The waiters duties include receiving and serving customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, cashier work and handling payments, setting and cleaning tables, collecting dishes and washing dishes, maintaining the general cleanliness of the dining area, and other tasks related to the daily operation of the restaurant. The work also includes cooperation with kitchen staff, ensuring a good customer experience, and assisting with other restaurant tasks when necessary.
