Job summary

Patria Oyj in Tampere is seeking a Test Lead to coordinate testing activities for a major SAP S/4HANA ERP transformation. You will align with business stakeholders and the implementation partner to plan, execute, and report SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing from a customer perspective.

You will ensure validation of requirements, govern testing readiness, and manage defects and risks across the programme, enabling a successful deployment.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education degree or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience leading or coordinating testing activities in large ERP, digital transformation, or business system implementation programmes.
• Experience working with external implementation partners or system integrators.
• Experience coordinating business users and stakeholders during testing phases.
• Understanding of ERP business processes and end-to-end testing principles.
• Strong planning, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex programme environment.
• Fluent English and Finnish skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as Patria's primary point of contact and coordinator for programme testing activities.
• Work closely with the implementation partner's Test Lead to jointly plan, monitor, and govern testing activities.
• Coordinate business participation in testing, including Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Key Users.
• Define and maintain Patria's testing plan, testing governance, and testing readiness activities.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-to-end business process testing from the customer perspective.
• Ensure that business requirements and process designs are adequately validated through testing.
• Manage testing scope, entry and exit criteria, defect prioritisation, and business acceptance processes.
• Facilitate defect triage and resolution discussions between Patria business teams and implementation partners.
• Monitor testing progress, risks, and quality metrics and provide regular reporting to programme leadership.
• Support deployment readiness assessments and go-live decision making.
• Drive testing communication, stakeholder engagement, and user preparedness across the programme.

We are now searching for

Test Lead

to join our team in Tampere.

Patria is undergoing a major business transformation, implementing a new SAP S/4HANA based ERP solution and associated business processes across the company. We are now looking for an experienced Test Lead to coordinate and lead testing activities on behalf of Patria and ensure the quality and successful validation of the new solution before deployment.

In this role, you will act as Patria's Test Lead, coordinating business stakeholders, key users, process owners, and project teams across the organisation. You will work closely with the implementation partner's Test Lead to ensure effective planning, execution, and reporting of all testing activities across the programme.

Your responsibilities

What we expect from you

We are looking for a structured and collaborative professional with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate testing activities across a large transformation programme.

You have

• Experience working with external implementation partners or system integrators
• Experience coordinating business users and stakeholders during testing phases

• Fluent English and Finnish skills, both written and spoken

The following are considered an advantage

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA programmes
• Experience in manufacturing, defence, aerospace, or industrial business environments
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
• Understanding of SAP Activate methodology or similar programme delivery frameworks
