Job summary

Orion Pharma seeks a Research Associate for the Physical Analytical Laboratory in Espoo. This full-time, temporary role supports research, development, and quality control across lifecycle management of products.

You will perform physical analytics using XRD, DSC, TGA, Raman, and related techniques while contributing to method development and documentation. The position is based on-site in Espoo, Finland, with a late 2024 start and an approximate one-year duration to cover a family leave.

Qualifications

• Requires a lab-based degree from a recognized program (University of Applied Sciences or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with physical analytical instrumentation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP working principles and strong safety mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical analytics on drug substances and excipients (XRD, DSC, TGA, DVS, Raman, laser diffraction, microscopy).
• Develop and validate physical analytical methods.
• Accurately document and review results for scientists.
• Maintain laboratory and equipment responsibilities as defined.
