CoE Group Technical Documentation team is looking for new professionals for future customer projects. This is an open application and is not tied to one specific customer or project. We continuously have a variety of documentation needs and are looking for people who can grow with us through future assignments.
Planning, writing and maintaining user, installation and maintenance instructions
Technical illustration and visualizations based on 3D models
Structured documentation and content reuse
Information architecture and documentation design
Publishing, version control and localization coordination
Developing documentation processes and ways of working
There is no single profile we are looking for. Some of our specialists focus on technical writing, others on technical illustrations and visualization, while some work across several areas of technical documentation. We value both deep specialist expertise and broader, multidisciplinary profiles.
You do not need to know everything. We value experience in areas such as structured documentation and XML-based content production, technical writing and illustration, 3D-based visualization, and content, version and product information management environments (CMS/CCMS, PDM/PLM).
Your background could be in technical communication, product design and engineering, IT or visual communication. What matters most is your ability to understand technical systems and turn them into clear, user-focused information.
Ability to work independently with customer subject-matter experts
Confidence to ask the right questions and obtain missing information
A user-focused approach to documentation
Ability to work with incomplete or fragmented source material
Attention to detail, an organized way of working and the ability to work in English
Technical documentation at CoE means much more than writing manuals. Our projects may include technical writing, illustration, information architecture, structured content, version control, publishing, localization, visualization and the development of documentation processes. You will work as part of a technical documentation community in an industrial product-development environment where documentation is closely linked to products, engineering and the product-information lifecycle.
We primarily work from wherever each person can work most effectively, without unnecessary location restrictions. However, some customer projects may require occasional on-site presence at the customer’s or CoE Group’s premises. Any on-site and travel requirements are always discussed separately on a project-by-project basis.
The typical monthly salary range for technical documentation specialist roles is €2,800–€4,200. The final salary is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, as well as the selected candidate’s experience and expertise.
This is an open application and your application will not automatically be linked to one specific customer project. You may be an experienced technical communication professional or an early-career technical specialist. You do not need to meet every item listed above.
