Job summary

Wolt in Helsinki is seeking a Tax Manager to join our global finance team. You will contribute to tax strategy, audits, and reporting for multiple markets, helping scale our operations while maintaining compliance.

You’ll work with data, implement automated processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. We\'re looking for a curious, meticulous professional who thrives in a fast-moving international environment and values continuous learning.

As we continue to scale, we’re now looking for a Tax Manager to join the team. This is a role with a wide and not entirely fixed scope – you’ll assist with tax audits, contribute to a variety of tax related projects, and support certain tax reporting tasks. The exact mix of work will shift over time as our needs evolve, so we’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys helping shape their own role. Everybody is accountable for their own workload and takes pride in being meticulous and precise. We also enjoy learning and developing as we go - it’s important that you share this approach! :)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Contribute to a wide range of tax related projects in the field of direct and indirect tax and transfer pricing, from process improvements to ad-hoc initiatives
• Work with large volumes of tax data – find creative and efficient ways to gather, structure and make the most of it
• Assist in tax audits across the markets we operate in
• Support certain tax reporting tasks
• Explore opportunities to automate and streamline tax processes, including through AI
• Take on a scope that evolves over time as the team and business grow
