Job summary

Artek oy ab seeks a senior finance leader to partner with the Managing Director, ensuring financial transparency, operational reliability, and compliance across finance, HR, and warehouse operations in Finland. You will support informed decisions, drive long-term value creation, and collaborate across the organization as a management team member.

You will oversee month- and year-end closings, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, and KPI monitoring, while liaising with external partners

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in a similar finance or controlling role, ideally within an international environment.
• Strong analytical and methodological skills, with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work and a high affinity for process optimization.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Jeeves (SAP SD, FI is a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI or XLCubed) is an advantage.
• Communication skills and assertiveness, with the ability to provide clear, fact-based guidance to support decision-making.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken. German and Swedish are a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Sparring partner to the MD/Market Leader
• Responsible for financial, legal, and fiscal topics
• Manage month- and year-end closings
• Ensure efficiency and transparency across processes
• Monitor key performance metrics
• Lead budgeting and forecasting process
• Oversee liquidity planning
• Liaise with external partners and authorities
• Ensure compliance with laws and internal policies
• Manage warehouse operations and inventory levels
• Responsible for stock taking
• Member role in Artek oy’s management team
• Support HR partners, controllers and logistic managers in Finland
• Main role is within Artek oy, but you also support a-factory (Vitra Operations) and Artek Foundation
