Job summary

Destia is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to guide the daily execution of data center projects across Northern Finland and the Northern Ostrobothnia region. You will ensure that work phases progress with high quality and on schedule, working closely with the project team.

The role is permanent and requires willingness to travel between project sites. Destia covers travel expenses, daily allowances, and accommodation costs per the travel policy.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education in construction foreman or engineering.
• Experience supervising sites in infrastructure projects or similar.
• Good skills in schedule, resource, and cost management.
• IT skills related to site management systems.
• Willingness to lead day-to-day work and learn.

Do you want to be involved in building smooth and safe infrastructure that has a direct impact on people’s everyday lives?

We are looking for several experienced Site Supervisors to join our team for data center projects, mainly in Northern Finland and the Northern Ostrobothnia region.

What kind of role and team would you be joining?

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in guiding the daily execution of the site and ensuring that day-to-day operations run as planned and safely. You will be at the heart of construction activities, making sure that work phases progress with high quality and on schedule, together with the entire project organization.

Your key responsibilities

• Managing site logistics: ensuring materials, machinery, and resources arrive on site at the right time
• Scheduling construction activities and managing resources
• Ensuring quality in execution and reporting
• Monitoring site costs
• Supervising subcontracting and ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled
• Onboarding work crews and supporting their well-being

You will work closely with the Site Manager, other supervisors, designers, and other stakeholders. In this role, you will have a concrete opportunity to influence how efficiently and successfully projects are delivered.

The employment is permanent, and you will work on our data center project. The role requires willingness to travel and active movement between project sites. If you work at a project site away from your home location, we will reimburse travel expenses, daily allowances, and accommodation costs in accordance with the company’s travel policy.

• Experience in site supervision within the infrastructure sector or another relevant field
• Good skills in schedule, resource, and cost management
• IT skills related to site management systems
• A desire to develop, grow, and learn new things yourself
• Initiative and decision-making ability in operational work
• Good English skills
