Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Service Engineer to lead implementation projects and support customers across Finland. The role involves working with automation systems and collaborating with Siemens teams to ensure successful delivery and service execution.

We have a great opportunity for you in Siemens Industrial Services team!

What will you do:

As a Service Engineer you are responsible for carrying out implementation projects independently or as part of a project group. The role involves daily interaction with customers and their automation systems.

Project activities vary from system design and engineering to commissioning, training, troubleshooting and, and on-going technical support. You will work closely with both Siemens and customer OT and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery and service execution. Active coordination of activities and effective communication with stakeholders are an essential part of the role.

To succeed in this position, you should have a basic understanding of Siemens automation technologies and TIA Portal. Equally important is your ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work with a variety of industrial systems. We are looking for someone who is curious, motivated, and eager to continuously develop their technical expertise.

You will work as a part of Service Operations team, consisting of experienced OT and IT specialists, delivering services to industrial customers across Finland. In this role, you will contribute to service contract deliveries, support your colleagues, and play an important part in ensuring high-quality customer service. The position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and increased responsibility within service delivery and customer projects.

Requirements:
  • Experience in implementation projects and customer work in Finnish industry
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens technology and TIA Portal
  • Proven ability to work independently in customer support and troubleshooting situations, both remotely and at customer sites.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to consider business, operational, and technical perspectives
  • Service mindset - in case a customer case requires, you do not hesitate to serve customers in cross-border projects in both English and Finnish
  • Bachelor / Master’s Degree in technology or industrial automation or equivalent
  • You speak fluent Finnish and English
  • Residence in Finland is required. Preferred location Espoo or Tampere.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Southern Finland to customer locations
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity service and NIS2 Directive are considered as an advantage
  • Experience in delivering predictive maintenance and cybersecurity services is considered an advantage
