We are hiring a Senior Writer at Remedy to help us write thrilling, innovative content for our next‑generation games.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Under the direction of the project’s Lead Writer, be responsible for independently owning larger parts of the writing work, including ideation, writing, collaboration, and iteration based on feedback from stakeholders across departments.
• Develop compelling stories, characters, and dialogue delivered within a properly structured screenplay, meeting agreed‑upon deadlines.
• Accept and deliver feedback in a thoughtful and professional manner, and assist in providing notes and guidance for less experienced writers on the team.
• Collaborate with and seek feedback from all colleagues (not just writers).
• Learn and use in‑house narrative tools to write, edit, and track content.
• Create and maintain documentation as needed to communicate the game’s story elements internally and externally.
• Serve as an open, available communicator, proactively delivering clear and reliable information to colleagues across all departments.
• Support VO/Performance Capture sessions as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Previous experience as a Senior Writer on a shipped AAA first‑ or third‑person game.
• Excellent ear for characterization and dialogue, with deep knowledge of story structure and craft.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Professional writer’s attitude, accepting and delivering feedback calmly, clearly, and respecting deadlines.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and production realities.
• Comfortable collaborating across departments, communicating ideas clearly and professionally, and contributing to a friendly, inclusive work environment.
• Ability to work independently, staying organized and on schedule.

Additional Skills We Would Like to See:

• Experience working with actors and directors.
• Experience working in established franchises with existing lore and characters.
