Job summary

UPM is seeking an Expert / Senior Process Expert in Direct Tax to join the Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing team. Based in Tampere or Helsinki, you will help shape the tax reporting operating model by transforming and standardizing processes with a hands-on, data-driven approach.

You will collaborate with global finance teams, drive data quality improvements, and contribute to quarterly and annual tax reporting, Pillar II, and CIT compliance, while leveraging OneStream, SAP and Power BI where

Qualifications

• Background in accounting, finance or taxation.
• Experience with tax reporting and global tax compliance.
• Experience with systems and data or reporting tools.
• Ability to implement changes in collaboration with tax, finance and system stakeholders.
• Structured and analytical with hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive transformation of tax reporting and compliance processes.
• Contribute to automation initiatives for tax systems and reporting tools.
• Improve data quality, consistency and scalability for reporting.
• Support quarterly and annual tax reporting with analysis and guidance.
• Participate in Pillar II processes with internal and external partners.
• Support corporate income tax compliance with finance teams.
