The Role

We’re looking for a versatile Senior Software Engineer who can work across full‑stack development — helping us build both customer‑facing features and a solid back end.

At the core is HuuvaOS, the operating system that keeps our kitchens running in harmony. Managing timing, inventory, and orders, it allows chefs to focus on cooking. Enabled by HuuvaOS, the kitchen crew’s productivity is significantly higher than in a conventional restaurant.

You’ll work on building applications and APIs that will help our chefs excel at their job and our customers to have a seamless ordering experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Go, Node.js, Python.

• Develop APIs that integrate with both our front‑end (React) and data layer.

• Design data models and storage solutions (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery).

• Ensure system reliability and performance through DevOps best practices (Kubernetes, CI/CD).

• Backend: Go, Node.js, Python

• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery

• Data Pipelines: Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Hightouch

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, GCP

• Frontend: React (for internal and external apps)

What We’re Looking For

• +5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Passion to learn and grow continuously. You enjoy taking initiative and figuring out solutions on your own

• We don’t expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we do expect strong fundamentals with Go, Node.js OR Python.

• Understanding of SQL and relational database modeling.

• Passion to build for users. You're not just going after cool stuff — you understand the balance between craft, speed, and user impact.

• Living in the Greater Helsinki area and willingness to work at the office most days
