Job summary

A leading SaaS company in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to manage operations for a critical service. You will be responsible for Linux administration, maintaining infrastructure, and automation using IaC methods. The ideal candidate should possess strong Linux skills and experience with Docker and cloud services. A flexible hybrid work model is offered, allowing a blend of remote and onsite work.

Key responsibilities
  • Linux server administration
  • Maintaining physical and virtual infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting complex issues with senior level understanding of LeadDesk technologies and infrastructure
  • Designing and maintaining container infrastructure
  • Automating and managing infrastructure using IaC methods
  • Security related compliance / audits. SOC2 / ISO27001

Must-haves
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in IT
  • Senior level Linux system administration skills
  • Communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Problem solving skills
  • Skills to maintain and develop container infrastructure, e.g. Docker Swarm / Kubernetes
  • Experience of maintaining a business critical production service
  • Basic programming skills in any programming language
  • Experience with public cloud services, AWS, GCP, Azure, UpCloud, etc.
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Version control experience (Git)
Nice-to-haves
  • VoIP experience (e.g. Asterisk / Kamailio)
  • Familiar with CI/CD practices
  • Prometheus, Grafana, Loki experience
  • PostgreSQL skills
  • Experience with Juniper switches
  • Virtualization experience (e.g. Proxmox, VMWare)
