We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional web applications experiences with a focus on quality and innovation!

We use technology to provide customer self‑service, intelligent claims process and smooth journey to our customers.

About the role

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will ensure our Web applications deliver seamless, high‑quality experiences for our users. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers, bringing your expertise in testing and problem‑solving to the table. Additionally, you will coach, mentor, and train junior members of the Quality Engineering chapter, helping them grow and excel in their roles.

What are you going to do?
  • Create and execute test plans and cases that cover all aspects of our web applications
  • Dive into manual testing to catch those hard‑to‑spot issues, from UI glitches to tricky edge cases
  • Maintain and enhance the existing Playwright‑based test automation suite, ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and reproduce bugs, making sure issues are resolved quickly
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement
  • Bring a proactive mindset, identifying risks and improvement opportunities before they become problems

If’s Digital Services unit is dedicated to delivering exceptional digital experiences across the Nordic region. As a development hub, we prioritize modern technologies, innovative design, and user‑centric experiences. Our team is expanding, seeking motivated and talented individual to join us.

Who are you?

We expect you to have:

  • Proven experience in quality engineering, with a strong background in both API and GUI testing.
  • In‑depth understanding of quality assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
  • Proficiency in working with JSON, XML, and various API authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth).
  • Practical expertise in at least one test automation framework, such as Playwright, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably TypeScript or Java.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
  • Comfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross‑functional teammates.
  • You are a team player who collaborates effectively with others with excellent communication skills and a self‑driven, can‑do attitude.
  • Fluent communication in English and maybe also with one of the Nordic languages.
