Job summary

MSD Finland Oy is seeking a Senior Specialist, PV to independently manage assigned pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. The role involves case handling, local procedures, training support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will participate in PV audits, maintain documentation, and support local RMPs, with travel within the region as needed. Fluency in English and local language is required.

Qualifications

• Health, life science, or medical science degree or equivalent by education/experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Experience with adverse event reporting (AE) and PV regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute local PV processes and activities in collaboration with internal and external parties, ensuring alignment with local legislation and company procedures.
• Manage day-to-day adverse events case management including case intake, translations, acknowledgments, follow-ups and submissions.
• Support PV audits/inspections and contribute to CAPA development.
• Develop/maintain local PV procedures and controlled documents in line with global standards.
• Prepare/maintain local Risk Management Plans (RMPs) to local Health Authority as applicable.
