Job summary

IXI is seeking a Senior Optometrist to ensure clinical accuracy across our eyewear technology and to lead clinical trials in collaboration with user research. Based at our Espoo HQ, you will coordinate with lens development, manufacturing and customer experience teams on-site, shaping how we understand vision correction needs for professionals and consumers alike.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification as an optometrist or ophthalmologist.
• Experience applying clinical expertise in non-traditional product settings is valued.
• Strong interest in disruptive eyewear technology and user-centered design.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vision correction expertise is reflected in IXI products and teams.
• Lead as clinical trials expert from design to execution; coordinate with partners and internal teams.
• Contribute to user research planning and data collection with clinical input.
• Conduct eye examinations for trial users using onsite facilities to guide IXI product configurations.
• Coordinate with Lieto lens production facility; manage lens orders with accuracy.
• Advocate and train colleagues, represent IXI in the vision care community.
