u-blox is seeking a Senior Signal Processing Engineer to join the GNSS Measurement Engine (ME) team in Tampere. You will design and implement advanced GNSS receiver features in embedded C/C++, collaborating with highly skilled engineers in an agile environment to shape our high-precision positioning solutions for mission critical applications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of industry experience in wireless communications or Layer-1 receiver design.
• Strong programming skills in embedded C/C++, MATLAB, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with embedded software development, testing, debugging, and validation methodologies.
• Proven track record of working with large and complex codebases with multiple dependencies.
• Hands-on mindset with ownership and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and optimize GNSS signal processing algorithms for ME in harsh EMI environments.
• Conduct PoC studies using simulations and on-target verification and validation.
• Develop, execute, and review test cases for product quality and robustness.
• Analyze nonconformities, identify root causes, implement fixes or workarounds.
• Prepare technical documentation and present results to stakeholders.
• Support backlog planning and refinement with product owners.
