Job summary

Pareto is seeking an experienced full-stack developer to work on challenging client projects across industries in Tampere. You’ll contribute as a developer and occasionally as an architect or tech lead within client teams.

We expect 8+ years of software development, strong frontend (React/Vue) and backend (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET), cloud experience (Azure/AWS), and excellent communication to translate technical decisions into business terms. Hybrid work supported.

We are looking for new professionals to join Pareto's journey

Pareto is a growing software company built around experienced professionals and a sharp focus on what delivers results.

We currently have over 50 senior software professionals on our team, and we’re hiring more this year. We’re looking for an experienced fullstack developer who wants to work on challenging client projects across industries.

What will you do?

You will work on our clients’ product development, typically as a developer, occasionally as an architect or technical lead when the project calls for it. We deliver full projects and integrate into our clients’ teams.

Projects span industries like technology, manufacturing, defense, process industry, energy, logistics, food production, healthcare, and the public sector. The common factor: complex systems that require broad technical expertise across the full stack.

You’ll have direct influence on client projects, technology choices, and engineering practices.

What we expect

At least 8 years of experience in software development. You work across the full stack and take ownership of what you build.

Interest in AI-assisted development is expected. Experience with tools like Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar is an advantage. We work AI-natively and expect our developers to do the same.

Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue, and solid backend skills in Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or similar. Databases and integrations are familiar territory.

Experience with cloud platforms, primarily Azure or AWS.

Ability to work with clients. You can communicate technical decisions in business terms and adapt to different organizational contexts.

High standards for code quality. Maintainability, testability, and DevOps practices are part of how you work every day.
