Job summary

Bittium is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the SafeMove Comms team. The role covers both client and server development with opportunities to lead technical discussions and product evolution in a hybrid setup based in Oulu, Finland.

You will own major components, work across Android, iOS, and Windows platforms, and collaborate with customers to ensure robust, secure solutions in real-world environments.

Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

Bittium SafeMove Comms is a quantum-safe, end-to-end encrypted communications platform for government agencies, defence forces, and critical infrastructure organisations. It covers voice, video, and messaging on Android, iOS, and Windows, and is built on a zero-trust architecture that customers can run on-premises, in air-gapped networks, in the cloud, or in isolated tactical environments.

Within our Security business, we are looking for an experienced and versatile Senior Full Stack Developer to join Bittium Wireless Oy and the team that develops, deploys, and maintains SafeMove Comms across our entire customer base. The position is based in Oulu, Finland, and offers a hybrid working model. You will work on both client and server, and you'll have real influence on how the product evolves. When the situation calls for it, you'll take the technical lead, both within the team and together with our customers.

We are a small team, and we see that as a real opportunity for you. You'll get to take ownership early, have a direct say in technical decisions, and learn faster than you would in a larger organisation, across clients, servers, security, and customer work. With that opportunity comes responsibility: you'll own what you build, and you should be comfortable handling the pressure that comes with work where our customers' security depends on us.
