Job summary

Unikie seeks a Senior Embedded Engineer specializing in AI-assisted development to optimize a constrained logger on legacy hardware such as STM32. You will extend data-logging capabilities and integrate a new probe while ensuring data integrity across the entire data chain.

You will design agentic workflows to manage multiple repositories and collaborate with testing strategies to validate performance, security, and reliability in a regulated product environment.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded C/C++ development experience.
• A track record with embedded Linux and real-time operating systems.
• Experience with constrained hardware such as STM32 and limited flash/memory.
• Familiarity with sensor/data-logger systems and environmental measurements is preferred.
• Knowledge of secure development: data integrity and tamper resistance in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Optimize existing logger codebase for legacy hardware with very limited flash memory.
• Integrate a new probe and extend data-acquisition and data-logging capabilities.
• Ensure end-to-end data integrity and protection across logger and data chain.
• Design agentic workflows to manage multiple repositories alongside embedded development needs.
• Collaborate with test strategies to validate functionality, performance, security, and reliability.
