Job description

Skeleton's Advanced Engineering Department is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (m/f/x) for the Grid products (cabinets, systems).

Your responsibility areas:

  • Responsible for the design and development of PCB-based electrical systems, including creation of circuit schematics and selection of suitable electronic components.
  • Designs multilayer PCB layouts, performs design rule checks, and ensures adherence to relevant industry, safety, and EMC standards.
  • Prepares manufacturing and assembly documentation, such as Gerber files, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly drawings.
  • Supports prototype builds, including testing, troubleshooting, validation, and iterative design improvements.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical, firmware, testing, manufacturing) to ensure alignment with overall product requirements and performance targets.
  • Receives task assignments and performance oversight from the designated functional manager, according to the current organizational structure.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional experience in electrical design, preferably in power electronics or industrial energy systems.
  • Understanding of medium- or high-voltage systems and grid-connected products is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in schematic design, component selection, and PCB development.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety and EMC standards.
  • Ability to support testing, validation, and troubleshooting in a lab environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
