Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Lahti campus team, building and maintaining critical electrical infrastructure for our hyperscale data centres.

You will design, install, operate and service power distribution units, UPS, generators and switchgear, ensuring safety, uptime and compliance while working with multidisciplinary teams on 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in data centres.
• Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and switchgear.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication in English; Finnish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proactive, safety-conscious mindset and collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical systems including PDU, UPS, generators and switchgear.
• Ensure infrastructure uptime with minimal downtime and adherence to standards.
• Maintain electrical safety policies and compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and upgrades.
• Document systems and participate in safety audits and continuous improvement.
