Job summary

NestAI builds adaptive operating systems for modern battlefield operations and develops NestOS for unmanned and command systems. We seek a Senior Autonomous Decision Support Engineer to own technical planning from the ground up, starting from first principles in edge environments.

You will drive multi-criteria optimization, physics-based simulations, and integration of geospatial and environmental factors to enable robust decision-support capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in physics, statistics, applied mathematics or operations research.
• Experience building decision-support engines, resource optimization frameworks, or recommendation systems.
• Expertise in probabilistic modeling, spatial/geospatial analysis, and Monte Carlo simulation methods.
• Senior level capability to independently frame and drive complex technical problems.
• Fluent Finnish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Own technical planning & architecture for autonomous decision-support models.
• Design physics-based simulation workflows to bootstrap values and simulate sparse data scenarios.
• Integrate geospatial, atmospheric, and connectivity factors into routing and recommendations.

Join us in the Senior Autonomous Decision Support Engineer role

Platform AI is building advanced decision-support capabilities that optimize resource allocation and asset deployment in dynamic operational environments. This is a genuinely hard problem: models must operate reliably under incomplete data, strict operational constraints, complex geospatial factors, and severe environmental conditions. We're looking for someone senior enough to own the technical planning for this capability from the ground up and comfortable building an approach starting from first principles.
