Job summary

Oras Group in Rauma, Finland, seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure IFRS and statutory reporting for the Swedish subsidiary and to lead month and year-end closings.

The role includes transferring Swedish accounting knowledge to Rauma, maintaining ERP finance modules, and ensuring accuracy of VAT and income tax filings, with a monthly gross salary of 3,425–4,280 EUR.

You will work in a collaborative, international team and contribute to ongoing improvements across finance processes.

Qualifications

• Few years of experience in GL accounting.
• Knowledge of financial statements and tax declarations.
• Basic accounting studies.
• Knowledge of VAT, accounting laws, corporate law, taxation laws; IFRS knowledge is a benefit.
• Knowledge of Nordic accounting rules is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with office software.
• Proficiency in English, Swedish and Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of GL accounting, month-close, and year-end close.
• Coordinate transfer of Swedish accounting to Rauma.
• Maintain ERP finance modules and related maintenance tasks.
• Ensure timely internal and external financial reporting, VAT and income tax filings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide colleagues.

We are now seeking experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen our accounting team in Rauma Finland.

What you will do

In this role, you will ensure that the IFRS and statutory requirements for accounting of Oras Group Swedish company are met. You need to ensure that the company's accounting and taxation is performed with good quality and accuracy and that all internal and external reporting are handled on time. The accounting of Swedish company is scheduled to be transferred to Rauma during Q2/2027, and the related project has already started. You will participate to project by transferring the knowledge of Swedish accounting and taxation topics as well as building the readiness to take over the Swedish accounting from current accounting company. You will also assist with ERP finance related maintenance topics. After taking over the accounting of our Swedish company to Rauma location, you will be responsible for correctness of general ledger, month closing and year-end closing activities including financial statements, VAT and income tax related tasks. You also assist with ERP finance related maintenance topics.

You also have:

• few years work experience in GL accounting
• knowledge of financial statements and tax declarations
• basic accounting studies
• knowledge in legislation: VAT, accounting laws, corporate law, taxation laws, IFRS as a benefit
• knowledge of Nordic accounting rules or work experience as a benefit
• good office programs and Excel skills
• good English and Swedish skills
• good Finnish language skills
