ReOrbit seeks a 5G NTN LEO Satellite Payload Engineer to advance next‑gen satellite payloads for 5G NR NTN services. You will contribute to end‑to‑end architecture, RF/digital payload design, and system-level performance analysis across teams.

The role involves 3GPP NTN standards work, link budgets, waveform processing, and payload verification, with Helsinki or Bengaluru bases. Join a startup pursuing space-data transfer innovation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Aerospace or related field.
• Experience in satellite communications, wireless systems, RF engineering or payload development.
• Strong understanding of 5G NR physical-layer concepts and NTN basics.

Aufgaben

• Define and develop payload architectures for 5G NR NTN-enabled LEO satellites.
• Evaluate bent-pipe and regenerative payloads, considering latency and complexity.
• Develop RF front-ends, digital processing, channelisation, and beamforming.
• Analyze interfaces with antennas, spacecraft subsystems, gateways, and terrestrial networks.
• Perform system-level trade-off studies for capacity, spectral efficiency, and power.
• Apply 3GPP 5G NR NTN specs (Releases 17/18) to design and implementation.
• Model orbital dynamics, Doppler, and beam footprints to optimise performance.
• Collaborate with RF, FPGA, DSP, and payload teams to optimise end-to-end performance.
• Create verification plans, test cases and ensure end-to-end demonstrations.
