Sandvik Rock Processing is the leading supplier of equipment and services for the mining and construction industry and at our Lahti site we engineer and manufacture industry leading hydraulic hammers and other hydraulic attachments for maximum productivity. We are now looking for Sales Support Specialist, Mining to join us in Attachment Tools Division. This is a permanent position and based in Lahti.

Driving growth by sales support

Responsibilities

You actively support Business Line Managers in Sandvik Sales Areas all over the world, with high-level customer focus and sense of urgency in day-to-day operations and sales cases. During the sales process, from opportunity to aftersales, you will drive effective coordination of various inquiries by being proactive and solution-oriented, collaborating closely with Product Line Management, Product Support, Engineering, Order Desk and other functions and divisions globally. Your role is both commercial and technical, and you enjoy excelling these two dimensions. Function is new, so you will be working with projects, processes, reporting, and developing ways-of-working to gain increased level of transparency and systemics, to support the mining sales growth targets.

Keys to success

  • You have already gained experience in tech sales or B2B-customer service environment.
  • Mining industry experience is a great asset.
  • RFQ processes are familiar to you, and you have understanding of CRM / pipeline reporting.
  • You are keen to learn about different technologies and have ability to read through technical documents.
  • You are equipped with suitable educational background, which can be e.g. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business.

Being the point of contact for our mining sales teams located all over the world, and collaborating with various internal and external customers and suppliers, you need to have proficiency in Finnish and in English at minimum. Be prepared for occasional travelling as well! If you have been endorsed for your excellent interpersonal skills, well-organized working style and ability to effectively communicate and serve customers, you have what it takes to succeed as Sales Support Specialist.
