As a Sales Manager, you will run sales projects for the Decarbonization business in the Service function of Marine and Ports Division in Finland, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy. The role is located in Vuosaari, Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities
  • Running sales projects, conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks
  • Identifying new business opportunities and being responsible for sales to ABB Marine for selected customers
  • Coordinating the information flow around sales activities, and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales, as well as product management
  • Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sales
  • Developing and contributing to account plans to meet the business and customer needs
Background / Qualifications
  • Several years of experience working as Sales Manager, Sales Support Engineer, R&D Engineer, or in another relevant role, preferably within the Marine sector
  • Good knowledge and experience on contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial / legal terms
  • A customer-focused mindset and a professional, can-do attitude
  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or in a similar relevant field
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills; Finnish is an advantage
