Job summary

DNA is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead and evolve the B2B online platform powering eCommerce and self-service. You will align enterprise and solution architects, steer microservices/APIs, and ensure secure, observable, and scalable production-ready solutions.

Based in Helsinki with a flexible work model allowing remote work anywhere in Finland, you will mentor teams and help shape governance for agentic development and AI-enabled engineering.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Software Architect / Lead Engineer in complex, business‑critical systems.
• Add code-level involvement with architecture in delivery teams.
• Experience translating architecture into working software.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve target architecture for a large-scale B2B online platform.
• Lead architectural work across online microservices and APIs.
• Review critical designs and code; create reference implementations.
• Embed security-by-design into architecture and development.
• Facilitate trade-offs and decisions balancing business and tech risks.
• Act as technical partner for leadership on complex topics and risk.
• Strengthen engineering practices for speed and safety (CI/CD, tests).
• Support AI and agentic approaches with governance and production readiness.
