Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role.
• Experience with data modelling, pipelines and data warehouses.
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt, Snowflake and/or Databricks.
• Good knowledge of SQL and data transformation/integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Understanding of data architecture and modern data platforms.
• Experience designing analytics and reporting solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Educational background in a related field

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
• Building and maintaining data warehouses and data lake solutions.
• Transforming, modelling and integrating data from various sources into usable datasets.
• Developing data solutions that support analytics, reporting, AI and other data-driven applications.
• Working with Data Scientists and software developers to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensuring data quality, reliability, security and maintainability across the data lifecycle.
• Contributing to data architecture and development of modern data platforms.
• Working with batch and real-time data processing per customer needs.
• Staying up to date with developments in data engineering and cloud tech
