Job summary

Google is seeking a field mechanical engineer for the Finland campus as part of the Data Center Services team. You will support the TPM in localized design and delivery, ensuring schedule, cost, quality, compliance and safety for mechanical work.

You will coordinate with PMC, AE and SPC teams, oversee SPC installation activities, and maintain cross‑functional relationships with stakeholders to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in managing construction projects.
• Experience with data center equipment and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive mechanical outcomes of high complexity within Finland projects, coordinating stakeholders.
• Define mechanical scope, direction, and resource allocation across projects.
• Provide technical leadership to optimize design, schedule, and safety for mechanical discipline.
• Troubleshoot advanced mechanical events and contribute to cross-project procedures.
• Coordinate with authorities and inspection bodies to address deficiencies and corrective actions.
