Job summary

Terveystalo Oy is seeking a radiographer to work in the Leppävaara (Espoo), Kaari (Helsinki), and Myyrmäki (Vantaa) units. You will perform imaging examinations, record research data, and ensure the quality of images and patient safety.

• Ensure high image quality and patient safety in all procedures.
• Guide and prepare patients for examinations and coordinate with radiologists.
• Shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays; 6-week planning cycles.

Job description

Terveystalo is seeking a radiographer to work in the units of Leppävaara in Espoo, Kaari in Helsinki, and Myyrmäki in Vantaa. Radiographers are professionals in medical imaging and radiation use. The job description is diverse, as you will perform imaging examinations, record research data, and be responsible for the quality of images and patient safety. In our units, you will also perform, among other things, X-ray examinations, mammography examinations, and MRI scans. An important part of your work is also receiving and guiding the patient for the examinations. Our units are located in Leppävaara, Espoo, Kaari, Helsinki, and Myyrmäki, Vantaa. In the Leppävaara unit, native X-ray examinations are performed, the radiologist is assisted in ultrasound examinations and procedures if necessary, and MRI examinations will also be performed starting in the autumn. In the Kaari unit, native X-ray examinations are performed and the radiologist is assisted in ultrasound examinations and procedures if necessary. In the Myyrmäki unit, in addition to native X-ray examinations, mammographies are performed and the radiologist is assisted in ultrasound examinations and procedures if necessary. We are now looking for an MRI-skilled radiographer as our operations expand in Leppävaara. Other units in our area are also working areas according to expertise. The employment relationship is valid until further notice and is full-time. The work is shift work in the morning and evening shifts. In addition, the work also includes shifts on weekends and public holidays. Shift planning in our unit is implemented in 6-week cycles, and in it, we always try to take into account the different life situations and wishes of our professionals. The employment relationship is permanent and full-time.
