Job description

We are looking for a Project Manager for new forklift product development

We are a product development department of just over 50 people in Finland, responsible for the development of electric warehouse, automated, and counterbalance forklifts primarily for the European market. We are part of a global R&D organization and we collaborate extensively with our company’s development centers in the Americas and Japan.

As a Project Manager, you will work as part of the R&D organization, responsible for leading new product projects. Delivery projects for automated forklifts are handled by dedicated project managers.

This is a permanent position where project managers report to the Team lead of the Concept and Project Management. Our office is located in Järvenpää, and after the onboarding period, we offer modern opportunities for hybrid work.

In this role, you will ensure the successful execution of projects through close collaboration with stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include project content management, scheduling, budgeting, ramp-up coordination, communication, and resourcing.

At the core of everything you do is close cooperation with various stakeholders, so adaptability and a sense of humor will be essential along the way! Your stakeholders will include e.g. sales, procurement, design, quality, and production.

Our new Project Manager is a proactive individual with a self-directed attitude and strong interpersonal skills, capable of keeping things under control even in changing situations. You also enjoy managing the big picture and working with people.

We expect you to have:

• Proficiency in Finnish and English
• Previous experience in project work
• A university degree (e.g., in business or engineering)
