Job summary

Swedium Global Services AB is seeking a skilled Project Engineer for our manufacturing division in Finland. You will execute and coordinate automation engineering activities for Engine Power Plants, contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

You will plan control system hardware design, act as technical reference for project teams, suppliers and customers, and support safe, compliant project execution. Fluency in Finnish/Swedish and English is required for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical or automation engineering.
• Experience with power plant automation hardware design.
• Experience using CAD tools; E3 knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of medium voltage protection functions.
• Fluent Finnish or Swedish; English required.
• Experience with PLC systems is an advantage.

We are looking for a Project Engineer for ourmanufacturing industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating automation engineering activities for Engine Power Plants, contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Plan and execute the control system hardware design for Engine Power plants.
• Serve as a technical reference for the project team, suppliers and customers.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, project team members, customers representatives and other stakeholders to reach project targets.
• Contribute to professional and cost-effective project execution in line with contract specifications, budget, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Your background

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical or automation engineering.
• Relevant knowledge of power plant automation hardware design.
• Experience of using CAD tools, experience of using engineering tool E3 is an advantage.
• Knowledge in medium voltage protection functions.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish or Swedish, in addition English skills are required.
• Knowledge in piston engine driven power plant automation systems are seen as an advantage.
• Experience of PLC systems is an advantage.
