CGI is seeking experienced Java Developers to join our team working on business-critical systems. This is not a traditional project-based development role—instead, you’ll be involved throughout the entire application lifecycle, from development and testing to production support and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java backend development.
• 0
• Experience with Spring and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Good SQL skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle or similar).
• Experience working with integrations.
• Experience maintaining business-critical production systems.
• Experience with production support, incident management or problem management.
• Fluent Finnish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining REST APIs and integrations.
• Maintaining and enhancing production systems.
• Investigating and resolving production incidents and technical issues.
• Writing and maintaining unit, integration and API tests.
• Contributing to test automation and continuous improvements.
• Working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Supporting the full software lifecycle in a continuous services environment.
