Are you passionate about crafting incredible player journeys? We're on the lookout for a Player Experience Director to lead our global Player & Customer Experience (PX) strategy and craft. In this role, you'll be the champion for our players, ensuring every interaction they have with Rovio – from in-game moments to community channels, CRM, support, or VIP engagement – is seamless, meaningful, and truly world-class. You'll report to the SVP Portfolio & Player Excellence and can be based in Espoo or Stockholm.

You will have impact and fun at work by:
  • Creating and driving Rovio's PX vision and roadmap, defining and then championing what player-first means to us.
  • Architecting team structures and collaboration models that work for our multi-game operations.
  • Leading and mentoring our PX craft (Community, Support, CRM, VIP), setting high standards and fostering innovation.
  • Designing and deploying upskilling programs that build data literacy, emerging technology fluency and AI adoption across our PX teams.
  • Overseeing vendors, tools, and PX technologies, always looking for ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Partnering with our game studios, marketing, player experience research, and other teams to embed PX insights into everything we do.
Experience and skills we are looking for:
  • You have preferably 10+ years of experience in Player Experience, Community Management, Customer Experience, or LiveOps within the gaming, tech, or entertainment industry.
  • You've shown success in leading large-scale, multi-game PX strategies.
  • You have a strong track record of influencing executive decisions by sharing compelling player insights.
  • You're experienced in scaling PX operations globally, including tools, workflows, and vendor partnerships.
  • You have a deep understanding of community ecosystems, support operations, CRM, and VIP management at scale.
  • You’re familiar with emerging technologies (AI, automation, analytics platforms) for PX.
It would be nice if you also have the following skills:
  • Experience in mobile F2P gaming and live-service models.
  • Experience working across multiple regions and cultural contexts.
