Job summary

VPS Henkilöstöpalvelu is seeking a Plate Welder/Fabricator for a permanent full-time role in Kiuruvesi, Finland. The position offers a stable long-term opportunity in a modern workshop environment.

We are looking for a skilled Plate Welder / Fabricator for our client in Kiuruvesi, Finland. Our client is a well-established manufacturing company producing high-quality components and parts for the mining industry. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering long-term employment in a modern workshop environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• fabrication and plate work
• MIG/MAG welding
• working with thick steel plates and heavy components
• manufacturing and welding parts weighing between 50 kg and 2,000 kg
• reading and following technical drawings

Requirements:

• vocational education in metalwork/welding and/or relevant work experience
• MIG/MAG welding experience
• strong fabrication and plate-working skills
• ability to work independently
• valid welding certificates are considered a strong advantage

Language:

The working language may be Finnish, English; in some cases Russian. English or Finnish proficiency is advantageous for daily communication with supervisors.
