Job summary

Hunaja Works Oy in Finland is seeking an experienced pipefitter for shipbuilding projects. The role focuses on installing pipes and pipe supports, brackets, and structures, reading technical drawings, and performing manual pipe bending with hand tools.

The position includes MIG/MAG welding with test, requires reading drawings and using hydraulic and pneumatic tools; aluminium welding is a plus and English is advantageous. Long-term, on-site work with competitive pay and health care benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of MIG/MAG welding experience.
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Experience in installation work with pipes and pipe supports.
• Good ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience using hydraulic and pneumatic tools.
• MIG/MAG welding skills to pass a welding test.
• Aluminium welding skills are considered an advantage.
• English language skills are considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced pipefitter to work on shipbuilding projects for our client.

The work mainly focuses on the installation of pipes and pipe supports. The duties include installing pipe supports, brackets and various structures, manual pipe bending using hand tools, and working according to technical drawings.

The position also includes MIG/MAG welding, so candidates must have sufficient practical welding experience and be able to successfully pass a welding test.

The position requires a good ability to read and understand different types of technical drawings, as well as experience using hydraulic and pneumatic tools.

We expect you to have:

• At least 4 years of experience in MIG/MAG welding
• Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel
• Experience in installation work, especially with pipes and pipe supports
• Good ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience using hydraulic and pneumatic tools
• MIG/MAG welding skills at a level sufficient to pass a welding test
