Overview

At Helsinki Piano Lab, we believe in transforming lives through music. We’re not just teaching piano; we’re building a community and igniting a lifelong passion. We’re looking for piano teacher who share this belief. You can choose where to teach students (e.g. your home, other workspace, or our Pasila Studio). Are you able to work independently and do you enjoy teaching? All roles are freelance collaborations – we handle the admin, marketing, and invoicing so you can focus on what you love: teaching!

Responsibilities
  • Typical assignments may include educating a diverse selection of children and adults
  • Create a supportive and inspiring learning environment using your own teaching methods
  • (Optional) Engage with our musical community, participating in events and workshops.
  • Contribute to our mission of turning individual lessons into lifelong journeys of musical fulfillment.
Your Story (Qualifications)
  • A student or graduate in music, music education, or related field
  • Currently living in the Helsinki metropolitan area
  • Own tools and equipment for teaching (e.g. piano/digital piano)
  • Experience teaching
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Patience and a good sense of humour
  • A love for music and a passion for sharing that love with others
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
