Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited (No Frills) offers a student-focused pharmacy placement in Canada, providing real-world training in a community pharmacy under direct supervision. You will learn about OTC products, patient counseling, and core retail operations, while preparing to become a licensed pharmacist.

• Enhance students’ knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling skills (including MEDSCHECK under direct supervision of a pharmacist).
• Teach skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
• Prepare future pharmacists to be successful in a community setting.

We look to provide practical experience for future pharmacists in a community pharmacy. Our retail/community environment will provide real world training to enhance academic experience. Students will learn about the expanding roles of community pharmacists. We operate under various banners in Ontario including Zehrs, Fortinos, Loblaws, No Frills, and Your Independent Grocer.
