Job summary

JAG Assistans Oy is seeking proactive, Finnish-speaking assistants to help a 40-year-old gentleman with MS and related needs. You will assist with transfers, hygiene, and home tidying, ensuring safe mobility and daily support across home care tasks.

Job description

About the Position

We are seeking proactive, positive, Finnish‑speaking assistants to help a 40‑year‑old gentleman with multiple sclerosis (MS) and related needs. Responsibilities include assistance with transfers, hygiene, and home tidying.

Responsibilities

Assist with transfers using an adjustable bed and hoist, perform hygiene tasks, tidy the home, and provide physical support as required.

Qualifications

Active Finnish speaker, physically fit, and knowledgeable about ergonomics. Social skills and a rehabilitative approach are a plus. Prior experience is not required but will be considered an advantage. A valid criminal record extract, per Social and Health Care Act 741/2023 §28, is required.

Working Hours

Four visits per day, 9 hours total: 5:30‑7:30, 9:45‑12:30, 13:45‑16:30, and 19:15‑20:45. Hours are shareable with other assistants. Weekly working hours range from 0‑20.
