Performance Tester

Do you want a front-row seat to develop the quality assurance of the Finnish money gaming industry and at the same time grow your skills in software development? Veikkaus\' quality assurance is responsible for everything from slot machines to online poker and from Lotto to Toto games; on mobile, desktop, and machines. Additionally, quality assurance is responsible for ensuring the operation of the backend systems that support these activities.

We are now looking for a performance tester for Veikkaus\' Quality Assurance team for a permanent and full-time position.

We are seeking a team member who can take responsibility for the implementation and development of performance testing and data generation. Your task is to ensure quality and customer experience so that performance remains at a high level in production. You will collaborate with various development teams. You have professional experience and expertise in quality assurance, are a proactive team player, and have a passion for high quality.

We expect from you:

• Strong SQL skills: Managing database users and permissions.
• Linux system administration: Ability to manage and maintain Linux-based environments.
• Programming skills: Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript are central, but broad coding skills enable smooth transitions between languages.
• Familiarity with cloud services: Various functions of GCP (Google Cloud Platform), such as Workflows, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, GKE.

Considered an advantage:

• Environment management: Ability to assist developers in managing environments and support the performance testing team in working more independently.
• Experience with AWS services: RDS, EC2.
• Web development skills: Understanding of web development supports further development of data generation.
• Experience configuring Grafana.
• Locust tool knowledge.
• Familiarity with data generation tools, e.g. Tonic.ai software.
