Job summary

Aino Private Island, part of SantaPark Arctic World, seeks an experienced chef for unique culinary experiences in Lapland. You will prepare dishes from breakfast to dinner, interact with guests, and participate in weddings and private villa dinners in a beautiful, remote Arctic setting.

Join a small, international kitchen team with Nordic-inspired cuisine, seasonal local ingredients, and a traditional Lappish open-fire dining ambiance. Flexible hours and accommodation support are provided.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more of kitchen experience (references required)
• Strong communication skills in English; Finnish is a plus
• Confidence to drive an ATV or snowmobile (training provided)
• A driver’s license and your own car – location not accessible by public transport

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes from breakfast to dinner
• Work and perform in front of the guests, including presenting dishes and plating elements at the table
• Communicate directly with guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Participate in private and special events (weddings, private villa bookings)
• Support your team members, help with dishwashing, and maintain a great team spirit
