Job description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our client Konecranes to reinforce their Rope Hoist Platform team in Hämeenlinna. The team is responsible for rope hoist technology, product definition, and product lifecycle management of the Q & R rope hoist product lines. You will play a key role in the mechanical engineering of customized hoists and crane components. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a global environment. About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be working together with lead engineers and actively participate in engineering custom solutions for a new rope hoist product family. In this role, you will focus on conceptual designing and creating comprehensive technical solutions. You will work with different stakeholders, research and collect information, perform different calculations and produce detailed design guidelines. You work as a part of highly competent team and have an important role in mechanical engineering of customized crane components and tailored customer solutions.

We are looking for a person who has good understanding in mechanical engineering and ability to work independently and proactively and communicate efficiently with different stakeholders.
