Job summary

AALTOVOIMA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for Joensuu in a full‑time fixed‑term position with the aim of long‑term employment. The role involves mechanical assembly and installation of industrial equipment, installation and integration of automation components, and occasional site visits to customer sites.

Work is on-site in production facilities as part of a skilled team, with some travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Suitable technical education in machine & metal industry, maintenance, mechatronics or automation installation.
• Prior mechanical installation experience.
• Knowledge of automation and pneumatic systems installations or maintenance.

Job description

AALTOVOIMA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for Joensuu in a full-time fixed-term position with the aim of long-term employment. The candidate will work on mechanical assembly and installation of industrial equipment and systems, participate in installation and integration of automation components, and use mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and other technical documentation. The role may include site visits to customer sites during projects.

The position offers a stable, reputable industrial employer and good onboarding. The work mainly takes place on-site in production facilities as part of a skilled team, with some travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities include mechanical assembly and installation of industrial equipment, installation and integration of automation components, testing, quality assurance and commissioning in production, and close collaboration with production, electrical technicians and design team.
