Job summary

Keskinäinen Eläkevakuutusyhtiö Ilmarinen seeks a mathematician to join our Actuarial and Analytics Services. The role suits early-career applicants or those with some experience, focusing on calculation, reporting, and analysis of pension premiums and liabilities.

You will work with data, mathematics, and programming, developing calculation processes and collaborating with business experts. A degree in mathematics or related fields and programming skills (Python or R; SQL an asset) are expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar.
• Solution-oriented and analytical thinking with accuracy.
• Self-directed work approach and good interaction/teamwork skills.
• Programming skills (Python, R, or other languages); SQL experience is an asset.
• Fluent Finnish and English.
• Partial SHV degree completion is an asset.
