Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a dedicated QA tester to join our client’s team, focusing on manually testing updated UI components across iOS, Android and web. You will verify new features while safeguarding existing core functionality through regression and accessibility testing.

You will collaborate with developers and designers in an Agile environment, contribute to QA alignment sessions and help ensure a high-quality user experience across platforms.

About the role

In this role, you will be an integral part of our client’s project revamping the netbank application and web interfaces. Your core focus will be on testing updated UI components across iOS, Android, and web environments. Because the existing components remain in live production during the uplift, your work will be vital in ensuring that newly deployed features run seamlessly while safeguarding all existing core functionalities.

Work tasks

• Conduct manual testing of newly designed UI components across iOS, Android, and web platforms
• Execute thorough regression testing to verify that legacy features and production environments remain fully intact
• Perform non-functional testing with a strong focus on accessibility standards
• Identify, document, and report bugs, visual inconsistencies, and usability issues in close collaboration with developers and designers
• Participate in agile sprint meetings and QA alignment sessions

We are looking for

• A few years of professional experience in manual testing for mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Strong practical experience in web platform testing and responsive UI behavior
• Previous experience in non-functional testing, specifically accessibility testing
• Good understanding of development workflows and bug tracking tools
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal)
