Job summary

Valmet seeks a Manager, AI to lead AI opportunity development across its Global Supply. You will identify high-value AI use cases, build business cases with KPIs, and drive initiatives from concept to measurable business value realization.

You will track impact, promote governance and responsible AI, and coach teams on scalable AI solutions. Fluent English required; Finnish or other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AI or digital transformation initiatives from opportunity identification to implementation.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their practical application in solving business challenges and creating measurable business value.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable AI use cases, business cases, and implementation roadmaps.
• Understanding of data governance, analytics, and AI adoption practices.
• Experience influencing and leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Fluent English communication; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
