Job summary

Siirtoruuvi Oy is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate the rolling machine, monitor output, and ensure products are manufactured for stock with high quality.

The role includes packaging, stock control, forklift material handling, and ERP-based daily updates. We value a long-term mindset, willingness to learn metalworking basics, and the ability to work independently in a solvent company with a long history.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the position

As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for the use of the rolling machine and the smoothness of production. The work is independent, and you can plan your own activities and ensure that products are manufactured for stock as needed. Your work includes, among other things:

• use of the rolling machine and production monitoring
• manufacture, packaging and strapping of products
• moving materials and finished products by forklift
• maintenance of stock balances and inventory data
• ordering shipments
• use of the ERP system in daily work
• general production support tasks

The machine used in the work is a significant part of the company's history – the entire company's operations were built around it at the time. Over the decades, the machine has been modernized and developed to meet current needs.

Previous experience in the use of machines, production work or the metal industry is definitely an advantage, but the most important thing for us is the right attitude and the desire to learn. Patience is also needed in the work. Sometimes products have to be remade, but the most important thing is to find solutions and complete the work with quality.
