Rovio in Espoo seeks a Lead Product Manager, Engage to drive the Beacon product area for world‑class services that help game studios grow, engage and monetise players.

You will own the area roadmap, collaborate with UX Designers, Developers, QA and Data teams in a hybrid setup, and guide feature adoption with data‑driven insights for mobile titles.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience, preferably with B2D products in the mobile gaming space.
  • Strong understanding of player engagement and analytics to drive product decisions.
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable requirements and prioritised roadmaps.
  • Experience working in an agile environment as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Game LiveOps.

Overview

Rovio is part of the SEGA family and is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Engage to join the team in Espoo. This role reports to the Director, Beacon Product. Beacon is focused on crafting world‑class services that help game studios grow, engage and retain players, and maximise monetisation to sustain player joy across millions of users. The position operates in a hybrid setup with two to three days in the office per week.

Responsibilities
  • Crafting the vision and product strategy for your area, ensuring we focus on the most impactful opportunities for our games.
  • Taking ownership of the product area roadmap and backlog, gathering input from game studios and teams to ensure prioritizations deliver the most value.
  • Collaborating closely with UX Designers, Developers, QA, and Data teams as the dedicated Product Owner to bring new features to life, from concepting value-driven user stories to final implementation.
  • Ensuring a seamless, end-to-end product experience is delivered to our internal customers (game teams), and providing supportive expertise for feature adoption.
  • Building and nurturing supportive relationships with Rovio’s game teams and the wider Beacon team to facilitate understanding and feature adoption.
  • 6+ years of strong product management experience, especially with B2D (Business to Developer) products, ideally within free-to-play (F2P) mobile games.
  • You have an understanding of what truly engages players in mobile games, and you are comfortable using A/B testing and analytics to gain insights.
  • You are able to gather insights that help shape the product vision and strategy, guiding us toward the most impactful priorities.
  • You are a clear communicator who can translate complex customer needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams.
  • You are an experienced team player in an agile environment, working with developers, designers, and QA to execute projects smoothly.
  • Experience with Game LiveOps.
