Ramboll in Finland is hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive electrical design for data center facilities within our Nordics DataCenterFacilities group. You will work with a global network of specialists, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable power infrastructure and compliant, safe solutions.

The role combines concept-to-hand-over responsibilities with a strong emphasis on collaboration across geographies, hybrid work, and a shared commitment to sustainable data center design.

Qualificações

• Experience with leading electrical design teams in multidisciplinary settings.
• Experience designing or constructing data center facilities.
• Experience as a consulting electrical engineer.
• Strong understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage electrical design for data center and mission-critical projects from concept design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Design and oversee critical power infrastructure, including MV/LV distribution, utility intake, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, backup power, grounding, bonding, and related electrical systems.
• Ensure technical compliance, safety, and quality by applying relevant standards, codes, authority requirements, client specifications, and internal design principles.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, including mechanical, civil, structural, automation, ICT/BMS systems, consultants, contractors, vendors, utilities, authorities, and clients.
• Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and engineering assurance, including reviewing drawings, calculations, single-line diagrams, studies, specifications, equipment selections, risk assessments, and technical documentation.

Your new role

As our new Lead Electrical Engineer, you will work to create DataCentersolutions for our clients. You will be part of our Nordics group for DataCenterFacilities in Finlandcooperating with our global organization. You will work as part of passionate teams filled with talents from all over the world, your core colleagues are in locationsFinland, but you’ll also become part of our Global DataCenterSpearhead and will benefit from +150 DataCenterspecialists in theNordics,U.K., U.S.A., India,and Asia as your new colleagues.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• A thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.
• Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex technical concepts to our clients and project team partners in plain language, verbally and in writing.
