Lead Azure AI Architect

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Azure architect to lead the design and governance of the organization’s AI solutions hosted in the MS Azure environment. You will create scalable architectures, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, compliant deployments across projects.

You will present decisions in governance forums, maintain architecture diagrams and documentation, and collaborate with the development team to optimize AI workloads. Fluency in Finnish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Azure architectures, scaling, and governance structures.
• Experience with Azure VNet structures.
• Ability to design Private Endpoint solutions for secure AI services.
• Experience with the Microsoft Foundry environment.
• Expertise in designing and utilizing Agent Service solutions.
• Understanding of API Management (APIM) and its role in managing AI solutions.
• Experience with AI Gateway solutions (e.g., traffic control, model access interfaces, cost management).
• Expertise in identity management (e.g., Entra ID / Azure AD).
• Experience in implementing logging, monitoring, and auditability (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of large-scale solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in complex environments.
• Good documentation skills and a willingness to develop and standardize shared practices.
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English.
